Yesterday, we had a after shift breakfast sa apartment with my housemates Tiffany and Carol. TL Mon and Mark was also there. Carol cooked spaghetti and I prepared Caldereta. After we ate, we watched TV and a commercial started to roll. I thought it’s another corny commercial. But when the commercial end, a brief gap of silence filled the room, then my tears started to come out. I was touched and overwhelmed.
I been working in the call center industry for 6 years now and most of my special days I spend it in the office which supposed to be with my family or loved once. For the past 6 years I spend my birthdays, Valentines, Holy Week, Christmas and New Year with my colleagues. It is fun, but something is missing. I may not have good relationship with my parents, but still I want to spend those important days with them.
